Necochea’s clutch hit drives Bulldogs to victory over Tigers

Anthony Necochea was in the right spot at the right time to produce the clutch hit that made a winner of the Hemet Bulldogs baseball team.

The left-side hitting lead-off batter doubled up the middle, driving in two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, and Hemet held on for a 5-3 Mountain Pass League victory over the San Jacinto Tigers on March 15 at home.

Former Hemet High teacher Cindy Kinney shared some great news about 2003 Hemet High graduate Ryan Barnard. A staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, he recently competed for Noncommissioned Officer of the Year in Grafenwoehr, Germany, and emerged victorious.
