Work Permit Information
Hello Bulldogs! Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! The process to obtain a work permit for the 2020-2021 school year, while we are distance learning, will be as follows:
- Email jdaniels@hemetusd.org for a work permit application or you can download one directly from the California Department of Education website: https://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/ct/we/workpermitsforstudents.asp CDE Form B1-1 (DOC)
- Scan (preferred) or send a picture of your completed work permit application to jdaniels@hemetusd.org (Please make sure all sections - Minor information, Parent information, and Employer information - are completed to avoid delays in processing your permit application)
- Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for your work permit application to be processed. The actual work permit will be emailed to you once it has been approved (usually within 24-48 hours)
All employed students under the age of 18 MUST have a current work permit on file.
*Work permits that were issued during the summer expired 08.17.20 - You must apply for a new work permit for the Fall semester - Do not delay as processing times may be longer due to the amount of requests received. You must have and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and maintain at least a 90% attendance rate to be eligible for a work permit (check your attendance! 2's and 3's are absences from classes and may affect your work permit eligibility!)."
