BASEBALL: Hemet’s Wolford leads All-Mountain Pass League Team

Hemet pitcher Chris Wolford was named the MVP of the Mountain Pass League when the league awards were released on Tuesday.

Wolford helped the Bulldogs go 21-8 and reach the quarterfinals of the Div. 5 playoffs.

Citrus Hill coach Drew Valenzuela was named Coach of the Year after guiding the Hawks to a 10-15-1 record in his first year as head coach.

Here are the all-league first and second teams.
