Navy Seaman Apprentice Kelsie R. Bohanon recently completed U.S. Navy boot camp training at Recruit Training Command in Illinois.
During the eight-week program, she completed a variety of training, which included physical fitness, seamanship, firearms, firefighting and shipboard damage control, and lessons in heritage and core values, teamwork and discipline.
She is the daughter of Kristine Bohanon-Reus and stepdaughter of Eric Reus of Hemet.
Bohanon graduated in 2017 from Hemet High School.
