Hemet Wrestlers Win Important League Match

The Hemet High Gym was the place to be on a Tuesday night as the Bulldogs took on the San Jacinto Tigers in  a very important league wrestling match.  The standing room only gym was  just that as everyone seemed to be standing, jumping and moving to every wrestlers move.

Both teams went blow for blow as each recorded pins in the first four matches.  Hemet gained the upper hand and then took advantage of an injury to give them the default win.  With that, the Bulldogs took a 12 point lead.  Going into the last match, Hemet was ahead in points 36-31 with Tristan Sutton coming up in the 182 pound class and held on in one of the most entertaining, thrilling, audience and team bench jumping matches of the night, coming out with a three point win to put Hemet High on top, 39-31 in a very hard fought victory.

Every match seemed to be a highlight meeting of some of the valley’s best wrestlers.
