Who Cooks The Meals?

Each year we prepare for Thanksgiving Day, whether it be to go on vacation, go out to dinner, or have all your family over to share a big Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone celebrates Thanksgiving differently. I know each year my family and I all head out to the river and have a big potluck. It has been a tradition now for a few years, and each year I look forward to it.

Food is a major part of Thanksgiving. Me? I love food, I don’t know about you guys. But the turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and whatever else your family may make, just makes my mouth water. The dinner is usually served to give thanks and to be able to spend time with your family and friends, and be grateful for everything that this life has given you.

Who cooks the meals at your house? As I went around campus I asked many people who cooked at their house for the holiday. Brett Vaughn said, “My grandma and grandpa cook the meals, and my favorite thing that they cook is the honey glazed ham.”

Whether you spend thanksgiving eating turkey, ham, or whatever else you may eat. Thanksgiving offers amazing foods, and many different types of food. Thanksgiving is a time of thanks, and a time to be grateful. Be grateful for the food that was put on your plate. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
