With falls arrival, comes the season where the riders come out of hibernation. For some, this time of year couldn’t have come soon enough! The busiest weekends are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, but people go on weekends as well. Some go every weekend they can. The first huge trip of the season is coming up: Thanksgiving. Hemet High has a number of students who participate in these exciting adventures in the desert. Aspen Taylor rides in Glamis with her family and camps with friends, “I drive a sand truck, I also drive a Razor 900.” When asked what her favorite place to ride to is, she said, “during the day we go to the hill and at night we go over to the sand drags.” Kory Labella also rides in Glamis with Bryce Minor, family, and friends. Kory said, “I ride a 450 dirt bike and my favorite place to ride to is China Wall.” Kayla Ivey rides in Ocotillo with her family. Kayla said, “I ride a YX 250, my favorite place to ride to is the Salt n Sea.” Jeff Anderson rides in Glamis as well as Ocotillo. He goes with his Dad, family, and friends as well. Jeff said, “I ride a YFZ 450 quad, my favorite place to ride to is Old Mobile Hill.”

Sounds to me like camping out and riding in the desert with family and friends is a great way to end the year! It seems like a good way to bond with family and friends as well as meet other families who share the same interest with you out there.
