Look around at the people that you see around you. Most of them have a cell phone of some sort, may it be Android or Apple, on them; some of them may even have the newest generations of both systems. Come October, however, all those devices will be beat with the brand new generation of electronic produced by Apple and Android. Apple of course will debut their new and improved iPhone 5s, and Android will debut their new Smart Watch, which is said to go on sale on September 25th for a grand total of $300. Both devices have long waited changes but they also have a few fears from the companies and the buyers themselves.
The New iPhone 5 is extremely similar to the existing iPhone 5, which came out last year, in size and shape. It is said that the iPhone 5s will be able to support the new 5G Wifi service and support the faster LTE Advanced wireless standard. Some of the new features that will be presented with the newer model is the fingerprint scanner in the center home button, which allows for a safer device. This feature may be able to be turned off or only implemented on apps that have personal information contained in it, but that is to be announced if that feature will be available. The new processor for the phone will be the IOS7, which is said to redesign the user interface and will get new features.
Apple is not the only company who has conquered the technological break through; Android has made its mark by introducing the Smart Watch. The Smart Watch is said to go on sale on September 25th for $300. The watch acts like your cell phone but on a much smaller scale. You can take calls, text, play apps, and it can interact with a large amount of smart phones. The watch is said to draw in about 7 million dollars by the year 2014. The Smart Gear can be loaded with more than 60 apps and will have a voice-activated app similar to Apple’s very own Siri. Samsung is not the only one who has cornered the market on such a device, Sony, too, has a smart watch, which was unveiled in June. The watch has to have a separate battery charger and is not compatible with Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S4. The device will be pitched as a companion with the newest generation of Galaxy Note.
With these two devices coming out to the world of technology, who knows what could happen next?
