Girls Volleyball Heads To Another CIF Finals

The Hemet High Girls Volleyball team stamped it’s ticket to another CIF Finals to be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Cypress College.  This is the third year in a row that the Lady Bulldogs will be in the Finals and are the defending 2-time champions.  This year, the girls moved up one division but the results have been the same all season.

The team traveled to Anaheim to face the Loara High School Saxon’s in a semifinal contest.  The Bulldogs got off to an early lead and never let off.  On a team with all stars, everyone shined a little brighter in the semi-finals with very strong performances from every player.  Many great volleys were fought for back and fourth throughout the entire match.  Hemet won the best of five games 3-0.

Next up for the Bulldogs in the CIF Finals will be Saddleback Valley Christian who beat San Jacinto in three games.  Saddleback and Hemet have been number 1 and 2 in the polls all year long with each team claiming the number 1 spot for weeks at a time.  It should be a great matchup of volleyball power houses so be sure to get to the game and support your Bulldogs.
