Clubs Information

Hello Everyone,
 
With several new club advisors and coaches on the Hemet High School campus, the question has been asked, "What is required before our organization can do a Fund-raiser?"  The steps are simple and ASB is here to assist you:
 
* A Blue Activity Request form is required to be completed and approved by the students of ASB.  If the activity or fund-raiser requires district approval then that must be completed first before the students can approve the activity or fundraiser.  An example of this would be use of facilities for an event, face painting, car washes, Dodge ball Tournaments, field trips, etc.  A reminder - games of chance nor raffle drawings are not allowed.  Approved Blue Activity Request forms will be placed in your club/organization/sport mailbox in the ASB Classroom - room 845.
 
* Since I had no organization returned my e-mail stating that they had a Booster Club, all money earned must be deposited in the club/sport account in the ASB Office.
 
* When the activity or fund-raiser is complete, please complete the bottom portion of the Blue Activity Request form.  This must be done in a timely matter - within two weeks of the close of the event and returned to the ASB Office.  We must have the completed form for audit reasons.
 
* ASB approves check requests, purchase orders, and transfers on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  The Blue Activity Request form is approved "ONLY" on Thursday.  Please allow five working days for transactions to be completed in the ASB Office.
 
* I have attached a letter from HUSD explaining our "Not for Profit" status and allowing clubs to use to gain donations from the community.
