Hemet High School Welcomes Wendy Szot, Assistant Principal

Wendy comes to us from Orange Glen High School where she has been the ASB director for the past 3 years.  She has also taught a 9th grade English intervention class.  Orange Glen is similar to Hemet High and had about 2,200 students enrolled.  Prior to that she was the ASB director at Saugus High School in Valencia, William Hart School District where the ASB budget was in excess of 2 million per year and the enrollment was 2,500 students.  She brings a good balance of the types of kids we serve and knows large schools.  She has been teaching for about 10 years all together.    She is energetic and will bring a good enthusiasm to the administrative team!

Mike Smith has served Hemet High for 22 years as a teacher and an administrator and has loyally served his students, staff and the traditions of HHS during his tenure.  He is truly not replaceable.  Mike, best wishes for a successful, happy and healthy tenure at Alessandro - they are very lucky to have you!

Wendy will begin with us September 17, 2012.  Welcome Wendy!
