good morning, High School welcome to 2018 we hope that you had a restful and enjoyable with your family and friends would like to walk me to second semester we also would like to remind you that this is the opportunity for a fresh start we encourage you to stay on top of your grades and get to come to school everyday to have positive attendance we wish you the best to this semester and hope you have a great start to the new year thank you and have a good day you got a few items one would be tutoring we offer tutoring every morning during our late-start Wednesdays starting at 7:40 and the library also everyday through the dogs program there's tutoring after school in the library all right let's talk dress code when you're getting ready in the morning remember there's some items that you cannot wear on campus professional sports team attire are not allowed also anything to do with drugs alcohol or profanity or strictly prohibited so please don't wear those on campus also trash we need everyone's help cleaning up trash remember you have to clean up after yourself we only have so many custodians on campus keep it classy Bulldogs MC her to go over our expectations and new any policy so the expectation is that all students will follow all school rules and policies that all time you can achieve this by being respectful being responsible and being accountable be respectful by following the Goulding Golden Rule treating others as you want to be treated if you treat others with respect they'll treat you with respect be responsible by turning in your school work being in class everyday on time and also track third grade and be accountable for your actions if you need to be in class learning everyday in order to be successful at school therefore it is important that you abide by classroom rules and expectations so don't get sent out to OCR I refuse to follow classroom expectations and get yourself sent to OCR intentionally there's a new policy you'll get a warning from your teacher on the 7th tardy your teacher will sing OCR and you don't have to serve one. Of OCR 8 through 9 you'll receive a. OCR and a lunch detention on tardy 10 through 11 you will serve a. M o c r and r a 30-minute detention after school tardies 12 or more you'll receive a period of OCR and a one-hour detention after school so the new piece to the tardy policy is after-school detention in which year parents will be notified and you will serve after school so make sure you're in class on time so you don't have to receive any of these types of consequence we wish you the best to this semester and hope you have a great start to the new year thank you and have a good day
