Welcome back students, staff, and faculty to 2019. Please review for school expectations and more.

good morning have a high school principal thank you so much for joining us the school years were so happy to have you here as we begin the 1819 school year so beginning after school will start serving supper and that'll be in the cafeteria area we also will have nutrition break between first and second. It'll be 12 minutes passing periods have been shortened to just seven minutes so make sure you have sold to and from class and take care of everything you need in an egg because passing through his have been shortened but nutrition break his little bit longer between first and second. Expectations are that you were in class everyday on time tardies are a level 1 offense you'll find out level 1 means today or tomorrow from your teachers I'm as a review PBS expectation so make sure you're paying attention but that you're in class everyday on time because parties are important and they will result in consequences but in order for you to learn and to maximize your potential in your things you need to be in class everyday on time so on Wednesdays will start at 9 or start and end time every day is 7:40 to 2:46 so make sure I damage your hair everyday on time because begin early 7:40 Porsche changes will not be happening for the first week of school please submit your questions requests through it online process councillors will receive emails once you've done that and begin processing those requests if you have a course that you don't want in your schedule asked that you attend courses or attend those classes every day this week so that you get credit for being in class and counselors will work really hard to make those changes as quickly as possible but you please go to those classes until you receive those schedule changes from the accounting office again all classes request to change or request to change classes need to be done through the online Forestry we have a parent liaison if you need any support or need any help Naomi is in the front office please come see her or encourage your parents to do so are College and Career Center has been to the upstairs at the light we're going to be calling our library this unit Union if you want to see mister or Zukowski are college and career counselor he is upstairs in the library please check it out we have many new and exciting features in the library or a career center for you I'm very comfortable seating so again I encourage you to check that out our marriage and family therapist are mental health professionals as we like to call them are now in the wellness center and you'll find the wellness center that little genocide of the lunch area next to the gym so if you need to talk to somebody because you're feeling a little low or you need some advice on something that you're going through and you can find mrs. naris or mistress when's in that area that's consider the wellness center so please go check that out that's a new and improved space as well very excited that we're offering a snack bar for your sorry excuse me a salad bar we have a salad bar in the main speed lines in the cafeteria so I encourage you to visit the salad bar where you can get fresh fruits locally-sourced fruits and vegetables every day if you're interested in that menu option is available in the cafeteria so we have got a quite different options and if you need information about our school such an events or activities you want to know information about your teachers course catalog information our website is available at 10 and I encourage you to visit that website because they're so much information available on our school website ID cards expected expected to have them on you to get on campus every can you have a staff member at the gates to can't on campus at Stanford or next to the gym to come on campus please make sure you have your IDs and that you showed them to staff if you don't have your ID you'll be checking in through the front office again IDs are where to get on campus please make sure you have them and we have two entrances the entrance on Stanford by the pull through and we have an entrance next to the gym and between the gym in the front office please make sure that those are the only two entrances that you're coming on cam share a lot of information with you and rapid-fire fashion but there's a lot of other important people that you're going to meet throughout the We're going to have like I said we're going to have a lot of workshops Live Events I'll be right here for you so you can relax with your Chromebook we're going to have desktop computers connect information on colleges and careers we're going to have a printer we have lots of wonderful resources for you so any college or career question you might have this is the place to come and I'm the person to come by and also we have no sitting area over here and we also have a full computer so we're going to have lots of good Hands-On workshops for financial aid college applications career research so any questions you have about College and Career this is the place to come to get those questions answer so I'm process of putting everything together and check it out I'm here I also welcome your ID if you have an idea how we can make this more usable user-friendly and informative for you I'd be happy to let you know so welcome to a new academic yearbook good morning Bulldogs welcome to the new school year my name is Jake Simmons and I work through work with the 9th graders through What's called the bar program if you want to get it and what was the career center is now called Center and that is right off the comment 174 so go to room 174 if you need me to the counseling office I need some assistance and I'll be happy to help so he helps so we're here for social emotional support so if you're struggling with your friend is struggling come on up and we'll be happy to help and hope you have a great year Bulldogs welcome back, hi I miss is Killebrew and today I wanted to take a few minutes to talk to you PBIS PBS stands for positive behavior interventions and support at what it is it's a school-wide support system to teach behavior and high school we have our school expectations and expectations are being respectful responsible and accountable you can see I'm right here respectful responsible and accountable I don't want to do what you want to teach me patient being respectful in the hallways are in the classroom for behavior that fit the school by the in the next few days are going to be giving you more details and explain it to you but I just wanted to let you know some things that you can get with your PBIS rewards positive behavior in the classroom or in the comments scan your ID card with this app and you are awarded a point and with those points you can cash them in for snacks drinks or even raffle tickets last year we gave her a prom ticket yearbook ticket and this year we're looking to give away so much more joining Cruise you have to try to think about the school expectations as you go through your day and just live out those expectations have a great year thanks The Grand Theatre
