Hemet High School Scholarship Opportunities
Attention Seniors: There are MANY scholarships currently available from local organizations and foundations looking to award money to Hemet High School Seniors. Please check the daily bulletin for all open scholarship opportunities. You must apply for each scholarship individually - these opportunities are NOT part of the local scholarship packets you turned in. *Please note the deadlines in the descriptions of the individual scholarships.

DUE IN OCTOBER
The Heisman High School Scholarship: Rewards male and female high school seniors who accomplish tremendous feats in the classroom, on the field, and most importantly, within their communities. Winners from every school and scholarships range from $1000-$10,000. Deadline is October 18th!
Horatio Alger Scholarship
Seniors the Horatio Alger Assoc. is offering a scholarship to any students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need and good academic record. For more information please visit www.sholars.horatioalger.org
Coca Cola Scholarship:
Rewarding 150 high school seniors with a $20,000 scholarship. Applicants must be a current high school senior, a U.S Citizen or permanent resident, planning to attend college at an accredited U.S college or university, and parent or grandparent cannot be a current of retired employee of CocaCola.
Voice of Democracy (Veterans of Foreign Wars)
Students 9th-12th grade can apply for this scholarship that awards one student $35,000. Other
winners will be selected for $1000 scholarships. Deadline is October 31st!
