Dan Boulton has been the band director at HHS for 13 years now and was previously at Dartmouth Middle School for 8 years. Dan works tirelessly to provide all his students with memorable musical experiences, as he has taken them to Denver, New Orleans, San Francisco, and New York to name just a few. Not only is he a teacher, he is also a person that his students can come and talk to when they feel they have no one else who cares or understands. He has also been the music coordinator for 3 years now working as a liaison between all the instrumental and choral directors in the district, bring a hard-working advocate for the HUSD music program. Dan spends countless hours coordinating activities for his own students as well as district events for all students, elementary to high school. Dan also is an amazing teacher who has consistently guided his students to earn multiple consecutive years of unanimous superior ratings at SCSBOA band festivals, top jazz recognition and provides musical
