The BARR Program is an innovative school reform program that will make all American schools great for students, teachers and communities. Schools, who implement the program, will:
v Increase student and school success while reducing the costs associated with problem behaviors;
v Increase high school graduation rates and student engagement;
v Ensure school and community safety; and
v Increase parent engagement.
In general, the BARR Program sets high expectations for students and teachers and unleashes them to be their best by providing a proven, flexible, data-driven system centered on the relationships between students and teachers instead of the barriers. It changes the way we see and teach students in America, and guarantees that all students can compete locally, nationally and globally now and in the future.
