Hemet High Athletes Sign Letters of Intent.

Hemet High School spring athletes signed their letter of intent to play athletics at the collegiate level today. 

 

Seniors Yeager Taylor, son of Kyle and Melissa Taylor, signed to play baseball with the University of California Highlanders;  

 

Jade Gandara, daughter of Joseph and Billie Gandara, has signed her Letter of Intent and earned herself a scholarship to play college softball for Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina   Her 2013-14 stats:  Batting Average - .561;  Runs batted In – 35;  Doubles – 15; Home Runs – 5.

 

This will be Jade's 3 season playing Varsity Softball at 2nd base. Jade also helped our program to win it's First ever CIF Div. 4 Softball Championship and contributed to our 2nd consecutive league title.


 

Victoria (Tori) Montoya, daughter of Mark and Kristine Montoya, has signed her letter of intent and has earned herself a scholarship to play college softball for Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas.   Her 2013-14 stats were:  Batting Average - .231; Runs Batted In – 6; Home Runs - 2

 

This will be Tori's 2nd season on varsity she started at 3rd base for us last season and she also contributed to our CIF Div. 4 Championship as well as ensuring our softball team to it's consecutive league title.

 

Athletes signed their letters in front of parents and families, coaches, administration, fellow players and student supporters in the gymnasium, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

 

Congratulations Bulldogs, and remember, Once a Bulldog, Always a Bulldog.
